Justice

Justice
The Western notion of justice is a concept of moral rightness based on ethics, rationality, law, natural law, religion or equity. It is also the act of being just and/or fair.

So at 4 am when I was reading about Elliot Turner the killer of Emily Longley becoming a target of violence from other inmates I pause and think about this thing we call justice. How is it just to allow an appeal when Emily's mother has little but a fake fur (Emily's trademark and one of her favorite possessions) Hardly comfort for her mother who still hugs the jacket cradling the scent of her daughter.
It's our basic instinct to protect our children from all harm but eventually we have to let them go, Let them explore the dangers we try and shelter them from.
I fail to see justice for the parents or for Emily's sister and can't why they should be dragged through the pain of an appeal.
I hope Elliot's next cell mate makes him his new girlfriend and strangles him a little.
